Even though they have seen every brushstroke, when the painting is turned around, it's a completely different image. Then the audience compares notes about what they've seen and speaks with each other. Even when we see the same things, we have different experiences.

The medium is the metaphor. Even when we have seen everything, we can not know everything. We are all in it together.
